FearLess Pet has taken the fear out of dog training. Founder, Chris Durrant, once dog walker and now a professional dog trainer, had her own aggressive and reactive dog. Trainers told her to “be the boss” of her dog and that her dog would never have friends. Chris refused to accept that and proceeded to learn about dog behavior and using positive reinforcement on her own, eventually becoming a trainer herself. Not only did her dog respond positively, he went on to make many friends - both human and dog. Chris also used what she had learned with the dogs she walked, many of whose owners insisted they needed prong collars and choke chains to “behave properly”. Needless to say, her dog walking pups also responded positively.

With all of this success, Chris decided to take her knowledge one step further by creating a line of training products and dog gear that promote comfort while dogs learn to become model canine citizens. There is no need for harsh tools when you choose kind training.

   

Chris’s goal is to pair kind training with comfortable gear for the best possible experience for dogs, in every situation. She strives to bring humans and dogs together in harmony.
