They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Those of us with dogs know that is very true.

One way of making a picture last forever is to have it painted by a professional. It’s a wonderful way to preserve the cherished memory of our furry friends after they have left us.

More and more artists that are drawn to painting dogs and other animals and I can understand why. Dogs make such beautiful subjects. You just have to look in their eyes to see true beauty.

Coral Rose Art uses pastel pencils to achieve extremely life-like detail which can be seen on the exquisite German Shepherd shown above. You will see this dog along with many other beautiful animals in the gallery section of their website.

If you are interested, all you have to do is supply your favourite picture and decide the size you desire. If you are unsure, the artist can help you decide from different pictures which would be best suited to become a painting.

This is also a wonderful gift idea for any animal lover.
